Her Broadway debut came in a revival of the musical Cabaret (2014–15). Stone won the Volpi Cup for Best Actress for playing an aspiring actress in the musical La La Land (2016). One of the highest-paid actresses in the world in 2015, Stone has been nominated for an Academy Award, two British Academy Film Awards, and two Golden Globe Awards, and has won two Screen Actors Guild Awards.
